BetterBedderBureau |Findings |

All Sleep Number mattresses offer customizable firmness ranges, and these ranges vary by model. Please note that most Sleep Number models share the same support core construction, which features two air chambers that can be adjusted using the Firmness Control function. The only exception is the it bed, which features six individual air chambers. A breakdown of firmness options, layer dimensions, and components for all current Sleep Number mattresses is included in the table below.

The line of Sleep Number mattresses are all high quality selections, with the main components being air chambers which can customize the bed to be more plush or more firm based on the body composition and sleep preferences of the sleeper.  Many of the models also have sleep tracking abilities built in as well

The Sleep Number Classic line is offered in two models, the c2 as well as the c4.  The c2 is designed with a 2” polyfoam comfort layer while the c4 is equipped with a 3” polyfoam comfort layer.  Our tests found that that the entry level line performs quite well for someone looking for that firmness customization at their fingertips.
